Welcome to my website, where you can find my yoga class schedule, and my blog documenting my adventures in wellness, awareness, and adventure.
With over twelve years of training as a ballet dancer, I took to yoga in adult life as I embarked upon law school and my law career - I couldn’t help but notice the positive effect it had on my mood, outlook, and focus. Now, after over a decade of practicing yoga, it makes me so happy to bring to my students all the benefits I’ve learned and cultivated from my yoga practice. I like to teach in a way that encourages students to breathe and be one with their body’s natural movement - yoga is a unique way to meditate with the help of your own body’s mechanisms and natural wisdom. In this way my classes serve as guidance of your body’s built-in healing abilities. Any given class will include reminders on proper alignment along with lots of encouraged unprogrammed movement, mood-appropriate music or ambiance, and plenty of fun chakra or meridian-based sequencing (along with modification offerings for all levels).
Reviews for Ashley Stefan Yoga
“Ashley’s yoga classes are a joy! I invariably leave class feeling much better physically and spiritually than when I arrived. Highly recommend.” ~ Beth
“Ashley is genuine and authentic. It shows in her teaching style as she is instantly able to put the room at ease. Her cues are clear and she has a soothing voice. I took a yin style class with Ashley and felt so good after! It was like magic for my hips! I could tell she really thought about the sequence and she offered good variations so anyone could do it. I look forward to taking more classes with her in 2021!” ~ Betonya
